It seemed that he had heard the youth's shouts, for the carriage curtain was drawn aside from within and Rong Jing poked his head out to look into the courtyard.

Yun Qianyue’s heart suddenly pounded twice. She thought that this vinegar barrel might turn over again! She glared at the youth and hurriedly explained to Rong Jing, "Don't listen to him; where is there any eye-passing flirtation It's he who..."

"Rong Jing, here’s proof! If you don’t believe me, come take a look quickly! This is a letter that reads 'To Yun Qianyue'. I wouldn’t lie!" The youth interrupted Yun Qianyue and pulled out the heart from the sachet. He waved the envelope at Rong Jing and shouted again, "A man on horseback just handed this to her. I saw it with my own eyes."

Rong Jing’s gaze shifted away from Yun Qianyue to look at the letter in the youth's hand, lifting his brows slightly.

Where they were standing was not too far from the entrance, and Yun Qianyue clearly saw Rong Jing lift his brows. Her body trembled minutely, and any retorts she had planned died on her lips.

"Hey, why aren’t you talking" The youth turned to look at Yun Qianyue.

"You’ve already said it all; what’s there left for me to say!" Yun Qianyue glared fiercely at the youth.

"If you tell me who that person is right now, I’ll destroy this letter for you. If not, when Rong Jing gets his hands on this letter later, you’re going to have a hard time." The youth looked smugly at Yun Qianyue.

Yun Qianyue rolled her eyes. "I won’t tell you! It’s just a letter anyway; go ahead and hand it over now and see if he listens to you or me. I’ll remind you: offending me isn’t so bad, but if you offend Rong Jing, don’t even think about finding that person for the rest of your life."

The youth snarled, "I’m not someone who’s scared easily! You don’t need to remind me; I’ll just wish myself good luck!"

Yun Qianyue ignored him and looked at Rong Jing.

Rong Jing had only briefly lifted his brows earlier. Otherwise, he was as serene as before, showing no other emotion. He slowly got off the carriage, whispering something to Xuan Ge, who gave Yun Qianyue a pitying look before driving away and heading toward the courtyard.

The guards at the entrance of Cloud Prince’s residence greeted Rong Jing respectfully when he entered the courtyard, showing him even more respect than they did to Cloud Prince himself.

Yun Qianyue received Xuan Ge's pitying look and her heart quivered. Was it really her fault Cold Shaozhuo had thrown something onto her carriage, but she hadn’t even looked at what it was! How could she be accused of passing secret messages or exchanging flirtatious glances So even if Rong Jing saw the youth’s letter, there was nothing to fear. With this thought in mind, she straightened up and waited for Rong Jing.

"You’re so shameless! Caught by your lover, yet you don’t cry out for forgiveness but stand here like a dead pig not afraid of boiling water. I’m ashamed on your behalf." The youth looked at Yun Qianyue's straight back and sneered.

Yun Qianyue was instantly furious; she turned to glare at the youth. "You’re even more shameless! You went to Rong Feng’s room in the middle of the night, saw him naked, then ran away without taking any responsibility. Why don’t you slit your own throat or bang your head against a wall"

The youth turned red with anger and shouted, "Yun Qianyue!"

"How I’m just stating the facts!" Yun Qianyue lifted her brows at him.

The youth glared at Yun Qianyue; she was not about to back down. For a moment, then he suddenly smiled and waved the letter in his hand smugly. "So what if I pulled back Rong Feng’s covers I wanted to, and he didn’t mind me doing so. What about you You secretly communicated with someone else behind Rong Jing’s back, using sachets as a secret message service and got caught by me. Since you don’t want to cut your own throat, it’d be better if you just let everyone see how shameless you are!"

Yun Qianyue rolled her eyes again and stretched out the syllables of her words. "So Rong Feng was willing for you to pull back his covers How proud of yourself!"

The youth’s face turned red again; he glared at Yun Qianyue fiercely, then saw that Rong Jing had walked up in front of them and threw Yun Qianyue aside. He waved the letter and sachet in Rong Jing's face: "Hey, Rong Jing, tell me who this woman is secretly communicating with! Here’s proof that she’s passing messages to another man. If you don’t want it announced to everyone, I will."

"Spiteful!" Yun Qianyue spat out two words at the youth.

"Hmph, only a vicious person can be a great one!" The youth took pride in his actions and raised his brows at Yun Qianyue. He brandished the letter to Rong Jing. "Speak up! I’m no upright man; I’m just a petty schemer. A petty schemer has his own tricks. If you don’t tell me, I’ll definitely do it for you. Who knows Your reputation might even rise another notch!"

Yun Qianyue looked at the youth and wondered: whose parent had raised such a child! Truly deserving of a beating!

"Then thank you very much! Announce this to everyone then. I’ll punish her for giving me so many troubles!" Rong Jing glanced at Yun Qianyue, ignored the youth and his letter, and continued walking forward.

The youth was stunned.

Yun Qianyue immediately laughed; she thought that Rong Jing really was adorable – there wasn’t anyone more adorable than him on earth!

"Hey, Rong Jing, are you crazy This is proof of this woman’s infidelity! Why don’t you want it" The youth immediately walked up beside Rong Jing and waved the letter in front of his face with a peculiar gaze.

Rong Jing took a casual glance at the letter, and five words—"Yun Qianyue, please open"—were written vertically in the middle of the envelope, very eye-catching. The handwriting wasn’t the best but was also not bad, lacking the elegance typical of women’s penmanship, so it was clearly done by a man. Each stroke showed how seriously the writer had taken this letter, especially when he wrote the three characters "Yun Qianyue," it seemed to have been written with great care, exerting effort through paper. He moved his gaze away and shook his head, saying, “If you like it, I’ll give it to you!”

The young man stared at Rong Jing’s indifferent face wide-eyed for a long time before angrily declaring, "You really are a madman!"

Rong Jing seemed not to hear him.

Seeing that he truly didn’t want the letter, the young man was somewhat deflated and unwilling. He stopped his steps and looked at Yun Qianyue. Seeing her smiling face, he immediately became furious, “A pair of madmen!”

Yun Qianyue raised an eyebrow with satisfaction and told him, "If you like that letter, I’ll give it to you! Oh,順便告訴你,給我寫信的那個人叫冷邵卓,是孝親王府的小王爺。孝親王最寵愛的兒子,捧在手裡怕摔了,含在嘴裡怕化了。你要見他的話出了我這裡往西走,孝親王府坐落在西城,是西街最大的府邸。彆走錯了!"

The young man frowned, "So that guy is Cold Shaoruo!"

Yun Qianyue nodded, “Yes, it’s Cold Shaoruo!”

"Isn’t he the one who ate your pill and was pulled back from death The person who used to do all sorts of evil deeds and regarded women as toys" The young man raised his eyebrows.

“Yeah, you didn’t mishear. It’s him!” Yun Qianyue nodded again.

"If I had known it was him, why would I have taken your broken letter!" Suddenly, the youth threw the letter back to Yun Qianyue and walked into the building while urging her, "Hurry up! We’re going to West Maple Garden to see Yun Li!"

Yun Qianyue caught the letter in mid-air, thinking that if she had known Cold Shaoruo was so famous, she would have told him earlier who the person was.

"Cold Shaoruo actually wrote a love letter to you. You truly are a woman with bad luck," the youth mocked as he turned around and glanced at Yun Qianyue disdainfully. He then said, "Rong Jing’s eyes and brain are both useless for liking a woman like you!"

Yun Qianyue rolled her eyes, thinking that things had come full circle: she used to constantly curse Rong Jing as someone with bad luck, but now the same applied to her.

"But your brain is equally useless. I don’t see what’s good about Rong Jing!" The youth's tone changed abruptly and he mocked again, this time directed at Rong Jing who was walking ahead of them. "He clearly thinks himself better than everyone else in the world."

“You’re right! Everyone indeed buys his account,” Yun Qianyue said indifferently as she started walking forward.

The youth snorted and raised his neck proudly, saying, “I don’t buy his account. In my heart, no one is better than that person. Rong Jing is far worse.”

Yun Qianyue glanced at the proud expression on the youth’s face before closing her mouth. She thought to herself that she would really never wear men's clothes again after this.

Rong Jing suddenly turned back and looked at Yun Qianyue, raising his eyebrows at her before turning forward once more and continuing to walk ahead.

Yun Qianyue’s heart fluttered. She was already reacting instinctively now! She reached up to rub her forehead, seeing that the youth had stopped talking and was walking proudly into the building past Rong Jing. Princess Seventh wasn’t following them either, so Yun Qianyue quickly turned around and called out, “Come on! What are you standing there for”

Princess Seventh made a sound of acknowledgment and immediately quickened her pace to catch up with Yun Qianyue. She walked over to her side and looked at the Rong Jing walking in front of them before whispering, "Is Young Master Rong not angry"

Yun Qianyue blinked but remained silent.

"It’s said that Young Master Rong has a good temper and treats people with warmth. He never vents his anger on others randomly. It seems it’s true! He doesn’t even get upset over this kind of thing. If any other man saw the letter you were holding, they would definitely first blow up at you in anger. You’re indeed very fortunate to be liked by Young Master Rong. Now I understand why all those men—Brother Seven, Little Prince Regent Ran, Brother Four and so on—are nice to you but you only like Young Master Rong," Princess Seventh said softly into Yun Qianyue’s ear.

Yun Qianyue twitched the corner of her mouth. She couldn’t say a word. Not saying anything was more dangerous with Rong Jing than talking. This probably only she could understand, so she gave Princess Seventh a glance and didn’t speak.

"You’re not going to read that letter" Princess Seventh pointed at the letter in Yun Qianyue’s hand.

“What is there left to read Better hope for your own luck!” Yun Qianyue glanced at the envelope and sachet in her hand, thinking that she had never expected Cold Shaoruo’s writing was actually not bad. It clearly showed he had practiced for a long time. But regardless of what Cold Shaoruo wrote, it was better not to read it. She didn’t plan on having any more entanglements with him. So she used her cultivation power to destroy the letter.

"Give me that!" Rong Jing said without turning back and extended his hand behind his back toward Yun Qianyue.

Yun Qianyue was stunned for a moment, instinctively asking, "What do you want"

"The item in your hands," replied Rong Jing.

"Cloud Qianyue, may I ask if this tattered letter dirtied your hands" Rong Jing still did not turn around and extended his hand behind him.

Qianyue's face fell as she tried to salvage the situation. "This was given to me by Leng Shaozhuo. You know that we do not get along, and he is always threatening or harming people. He must have some sinister plan now. It’s definitely no good news; let's just forget about it and burn it so I don't have to see it."

"Is that so" Rong Jing suddenly stopped walking and turned to look at Qianyue, his eyes dark.

Qianyue lowered her head and said softly, "I don’t know what’s wrong with Leng Shaozhuo! He must be delirious from recently recovering from a serious illness."

"Hm Delirious" Rong Jing raised his eyebrows slightly. Indifferently, he continued: "I don’t think so!"

Qianyue frowned and looked up at Rong Jing. "Anyway, I did not seek him out! You have to believe me."

"Mm." Rong Jing replied softly as if he had heard her words but also as though he hadn't. He then pointed at the letter in her hand and said, "Recently, after hearing news from Emperor that you were summoned to the palace, Leng Shaozhuo insisted on going to the palace. Prince Xianqin tried to dissuade him but was forced to take his son with him into the palace. Do you know why"

"How would I know!" Qianyue's eyebrows furrowed into a tight line, thinking of Prince Xianqin’s forced smile and odd expression in the palace; he had been coerced by Leng Shaozhuo to enter.

"Because last night Lady Qianyue wrote a divorce decree to Princess Liù out of anger. That night Emperor summoned Lady Qianyue immediately. Afraid that Emperor would be furious and kill you, Leng Shaozhuo rushed to the palace to save you. Prince Xianqin couldn’t stop him and was afraid his son might lose their lives again so he had no choice but to accompany him into the palace. As it turned out, nothing happened once they arrived at the palace; therefore, he did not mention it and claimed that he came just to thank Lady Qianyue," Rong Jing said slowly.

Qianyue's eyes widened as she murmured: "When has Leng Shaozhuo ever been so kind He must really be delirious!"

Rong Jing gave a deep look at Qianyue and stretched out his hand again. "Give me what’s in your hand."

Qianyue looked at Rong Jing, then glanced at his extended hand; it was as white as jade, clear and delicate looking. She averted her gaze and looked down at her own hand holding the letter, took a deep breath, and handed the letter to him, her tone somewhat weak: "Here."

Rong Jing reached out to take the letter and flipped it over several times before pointing at Qianyue’s hand again. “And give me your sachet.”

Qianyue placed her sachet into his hand.

Rong Jing took both items, turned around, and continued walking forward.

"Hey! Where are you going" Qianyue looked at Rong Jing's back and recalled the reason why he had come to the Cloud Manor.

“My grandfather sent me a message asking for my visit. I’m heading over now," Rong Jing said in a soft tone.

Qianyue "oh"ed, watching him walk forward elegantly and gracefully; she wondered whether to follow him or not. Just as she was thinking, the young man's voice came from ahead: "Cloud Qianyue, why are you dawdling Hurry up!"

Qianyue turned her eyes away, remembering that there was a 'precious old ancestor' ahead to deal with first. She decided not to follow Rong Jing and instead changed direction heading towards the Western Maple Garden.

The Seventh Princess held up her dress to catch up with Cloud Qianyue. Seeing Rong Jing walk away, she whispered: "You seem very afraid of Prince Jing"

“Are you not going to be my sister-in-law yet Why are you so nosy” Qianyue glanced at the Seventh Princess.

The princess blushed and looked ahead. “Maybe I won’t be your sister-in-law; that one seems interested in Cloud Li...”

Qianyue snorted, interrupting her. "Rest assured! He left after seeing Cloud Li!"

The princess glanced at the young man and said no more.

The two of them arrived before the young man; he looked at Qianyue's empty hand and raised an eyebrow. “Where’s the letter”

“Destroyed!” Qianyue naturally didn't say it was taken by Rong Jing.

The young man pursed his lips and said nothing.

The trio reached Western Maple Garden where everything seemed quiet, just as when Qianyue had arrived the previous night. However, the difference now was that there were attendants in the garden. It seems Ling Lian spread news quickly and the third young master acted swiftly; two elders, a gardener, an old woman, two maidservants, and four guards were present. Though they wore ordinary clothing and looked unremarkable, anyone who knew martial arts could tell that these eight people all had skills in combat.

"Cloud Li! Come out!" As soon as the young man entered the gate, he called out inside loudly.

Yun Qianyue recalled that he also called Rong Feng by this name in the middle of the night and couldn't help but find it amusing. This young man was full of tricks; even when doing unpleasant things or speaking words that annoyed others, one could not really dislike him from the bottom of their heart.

The Seventh Princess gripped tightly onto the scroll in her hand as she looked towards the main house's entrance.

"Yun Li, come out quickly!" The young man walked into the room and shouted again.

The door to the main house was pushed open from inside. Yun Li emerged slowly in a soft brocade robe. He stopped in his tracks when he saw the youth walking straight towards him, then looked at Yun Qianyue and the Seventh Princess beside her. He seemed puzzled but quickly suppressed it. He nodded politely to all three of them without speaking.

"It's not him!" The young man immediately rejected Yun Li with a single glance; he tossed the imperial decree in his hand to Yun Qianyue, turned around to grab Yun Qianyue’s wrist and demanded rudely, "Where did Rong Jing go Take me there."

"He went to my grandfather's courtyard!" Yun Qianyue thought about how she could get rid of this trouble! She would leave it to Rong Jing to handle. She gestured towards Ling Lian who had just followed in, and ordered, "Ling Lian, take him to my grandfather’s courtyard to find Rong Jing."

"No way! You take me there!" The young man immediately countered.

Yun Qianyue rolled her eyes, "Sir, men and women should not be too familiar with each other! Didn't you just say that I secretly communicated with another man How could you then treat me so casually now"

"I don’t count!" The young man was unconcerned.

"Oh, you are not a man then!" Yun Qianyue dragged out the words in a long tone.

“Stop talking nonsense! Hurry up and go!” The youth glared at Yun Qianyue.

“I don’t think I owe you anything, do I” Yun Qianyue tilted her head to look at him. "Why are you always against me"

"You owe it! If you tell me who that person is, I guarantee I won't bother you again. Otherwise, I will pester you every day." The youth held onto Yun Qianyue's hand without letting go.

“That person is me!” Yun Qianyue said.

The young man exclaimed and pulled Yun Qianyue along.

"Wait! I have a couple of words to say before we leave!" Yun Qianyue shook off the youth. The youth didn’t insist, instead he crossed his arms to watch Yun Qianyue. She handed the imperial decree she was holding over to the Seventh Princess who was looking at Yun Li and said, "Here, you read it out yourself."

The Seventh Princess reached out to take the imperial decree and nodded.

"Brother, she’s the Seventh Princess! She voluntarily seeks your hand in marriage and says that she doesn’t care about whether or not your appearance is ruined. She’s willing to try liking you. I think among those princesses in the royal family, none can compare with her. If you find her satisfactory, give her a chance." Yun Qianyue looked at Yun Li and saw surprise in his gaze; she smiled and said, "She held onto your portrait all the way here! You two could go into the room to talk properly."

The Seventh Princess blushed as she tightened her grip on the painting again.

Yun Li glanced at the Seventh Princess, lowered his eyelashes, and then raised them, nodding at Yun Qianyue. "Alright!"

Turning around, Yun Qianyue walked out of the door, contemplating how the connection between people really was a mysterious thing. Just like ten years ago, she never thought that she would eventually fall for Rong Jing one day; nor did she expect the Seventh Princess to marry into the Yun王府 (Yun Manor). This person happened to be Yun Li, who used to be a side branch of the Yun王府 (Yun Manor). She was thinking about why her grandfather had brought over the side branch from Yun County to live in the Yun Manor. Did that old man know very early on that Yun Muhuan would eventually leave and Nan Lingrui wouldn't return And thus selected someone from the side branch of the Yun Manor to succeed as the Prince of the Yun Manor

The youth followed closely behind Yun Qianyue, walking out with large strides.

Exiting Xi Feng Garden, Yun Qianyue looked back and saw that Yun Li and the Seventh Princess were still standing at the entrance and in the courtyard respectively. They appeared to be looking at each other. She turned her gaze away and thought about what happiness was defined as—love and being loved didn’t necessarily have to be a prerequisite; one could try to love too. In this vast world, among countless people, for there to be someone who loves you and vice versa with the shared wish of becoming each other's everything was truly precious and how many lifetimes' worth of fateful gazes did it take to earn Just like her and Rong Jing, she suddenly felt very happy. A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth.

"Hey, what are you so happy about" The youth asked Yun Qianyue.

"I’m just happy! Why do you care" Yun Qianyue gave him a glare. Thinking to herself, who educated this child like this

“What’s so good about Rong Jing” the young man looked at Yun Qianyue with some dissatisfaction.

"He is just really good!" Yun Qianyue couldn't help but smile when she mentioned Rong Jing.

This time it was the youth's turn to roll his eyes. From his beautiful mouth came out two words, "Madman!"

Yun Qianyue didn’t bother with him and pretended not to hear. Being a madman for Rong Jing’s sake, so be it! How many people who are in love or being loved act rationally For Rong Jing, she was willing to be this madman.

The youth stopped talking, and the two of them made their way to Cloud Old王爺's courtyard.

Jade Bracelet was waiting at the door. Seeing Yun Qianyue and the youth arrive, she greeted them with a smile and said, "Miss Qianyue, Shijie said that he knew you would come. He asked me to wait here to pass on his message to you. He says that Rong Feng Shijie is also here! He's currently in the back courtyard."

"What He's also here" The youth jumped up upon hearing this, widening his eyes as he looked at Jade Bracelet.

Jade Bracelet smiled with pursed lips and nodded, "Yes, Shijie came in first, then Rong Feng Shijie arrived right after!"

"I won't go inside! I'll wait for Rong Jing at the Honorable王府!" The youth suddenly turned around and left without another word. He disappeared before anyone could catch up with him.

Yun Qianyue was somewhat surprised to see how easily he had walked away, but she quickly realized that it was because he felt embarrassed about having been caught by Rong Feng. She found this rather amusing and couldn't help laughing out loud.

Jade Bracelet also smiled with pursed lips, "Shijie guessed right!"

Yun Qianyue blinked and asked, "Actually, Rong Feng didn't come"

Jade Bracelet nodded with a smile.

Yun Qianyue stepped forward to enter the courtyard. She thought that Rong Jing indeed had his ways; this way she needn't worry anymore. After leaving Xi Feng Garden, her mood was already cheerful, and now that she had gotten rid of someone who gave her a headache, she felt even more at ease. Soon enough, she arrived in the back courtyard where two people were sitting under a pavilion. They sat across from each other over a chessboard, clearly engaged in a game. One was old, one young—her grandfather and Rong Jing.

The two of them didn't lift their heads to look at Yun Qianyue when they heard her footsteps.

Yun Qianyue walked lightly up to Rong Jing's side. He was sipping tea while looking at the chessboard, not even glancing up. Her grandfather had a frown on his brows as if he were being stumped by Rong Jing and was trying hard to think of a solution. She plopped down next to Rong Jing and wrapped her arms around his waist.

Rong Jing paused in the act of drinking tea, finally lifting his head from the chessboard to look at her.

Yun Qianyue leaned into half an embrace with him, holding onto him with both hands, bringing her head close to his chest and looking up at him. She gave him a big smile.

Rong Jing raised an eyebrow at Yun Qianyue.

Yun Qianyue blinked at him and muttered softly, "Rong Jing, I miss you!"

The light in Rong Jing's eyes flickered as he set down his teacup. Ignoring the old man across from them, he pulled Yun Qianyue closer to himself with a low husky voice, "How much do you miss me"

"I miss you so much," Yun Qianyue said, her forehead bumping against his chest. There was something about this feeling and joy that came out of nowhere but was real as anything; like the moment she left Xi Feng Garden, she suddenly felt a strong urge to see him again. Now that she had seen him, her desire for him not only didn't diminish, it actually grew stronger.

Rong Jing chuckled softly, "Do you admit your mistake"

"Mistake" Yun Qianyue was momentarily at a loss.

"You truly have poor memory!" Rong Jing hummed in displeasure.

Yun Qianyue froze for a moment, recalling the letter from Leng Shaozhuo that he had confiscated. He must be referring to this. She pouted and said innocently, "I just have bad memory; it's not my fault anyway. You can't punish me because of someone else's mistake, that wouldn't be fair."

"You've got the nerve!" Rong Jing raised an eyebrow.

Yun Qianyue pouted slightly and looked at him. She didn’t feel she was in the wrong with this matter and certainly couldn’t back down now.

Rong Jing gazed at Yun Qianyue's lightly pouting pink lips, his gaze darkening ever so slightly for a moment before he lowered his head to bring his lips close to hers.

Yun Qianyue was startled and stiffened. She hadn’t forgotten that there was an old man sitting across from them—her grandfather. Hastily, she tried to retreat out of Rong Jing’s embrace but was held fast by him.

"Grandfather is still here!" Yun Qianyue whispered, her face flushed red.

"What are you afraid of" Rong Jing's voice was low and husky.

"Be discreet! We should keep a low profile," Yun Qianyue said with the corner of her eye catching sight that the old man still had his brows furrowed as if he hadn't noticed their actions, so she let out a sigh of relief and kept saying, "We need to respect the elders; otherwise this old man will kick us out for polluting others' ears. You don’t want to lose face, right"

Rong Jing果然停了下來。

Yun Qianyue sighed in relief. She didn't want to perform an unsuitable scene for children with the old man around, and be ridiculed by him in the future. But right after she let out a sigh of relief, Rong Jing raised his brows as he looked at her in surprise and asked, "Yun Qianyue, what were you thinking just now"

What was she thinking Yun Qianyue blinked her eyes, "If that's what you're thinking about, then I'm also thinking the same."

"I just wanted to help you take off a maple leaf from your hair. You were actually thinking of the same thing" Rong Jing suddenly let go of Yun Qianyue's waist and used his middle finger and index finger to pinch a maple leaf on her head and pass it in front of her face as he raised his eyebrows at her, asking seriously.

Yun Qianyue looked at the maple leaf and then Rong Jing. She couldn't see any signs that he wanted to kiss her just now anymore; he was being so serious that she was speechless.

Rong Jing tossed away the maple leaf in his hand and turned to look at Yun Shuhuai, the Old Marquis of Cloud, and said warmly, "Old Man Yun, what if I give you three moves Otherwise, with your eyesight, this game is hard for you to finish."

"Why didn't you say that you first went into a bridal chamber with that stinky girl before coming back to play chess" Yun Shuhuai looked at Rong Jing and glared at the hand of Yun Qianyue which was still clinging on tightly to his waist as he grumbled, "Indecent!"

Yun Qianyue blushed in embarrassment. She got angry and said, "Old fart, don't just stand there! Place that piece at the center position, and it will take all four sides with one move. You can't even see that How stupid of you! I doubt if you are really my grandfather"

After hearing Yun Qianyue's words, Yun Shuhuai looked at the chessboard and his eyes lit up as he immediately placed the chess piece according to her instructions and cursed, "Stinky girl, finally turned your elbow inwards."

Yun Qianyue smirked proudly, "That's because you're stupid!"

Yun Shuhuai grumbled as he said to Rong Jing, "Your turn now!"

Rong Jing slowly picked up a chess piece and placed it on the board. The situation which was tilting towards Yun Shuhuai suddenly turned around in an instant. Yun Shuhuai frowned as he suddenly looked at Yun Qianyue and said, "Stinky girl, you play this round for me."

"No!" Yun Qianyue held on to Rong Jing tightly without letting go of him and shook her head.

"Are you going to watch an old man like me lose to a young brat" Yun Shuhuai glared at her with his eyes wide open.

Yun Qianyue looked at Rong Jing, who raised his eyebrows at her. She hesitated for a moment and then used one hand to hold on to Rong Jing while she picked up a chess piece with the other hand. As Yun Qianyue made a move, Rong Jing did not say anything.

So in the end, the old man who was supposed to play the game watched from the sidelines as Rong Jing and Yun Qianyue took turns placing their pieces on the board.

Half an hour later, the two players ended up with a draw.

Yun Shuhuai stroked his beard and nodded in approval for the first time. He said to Yun Qianyue in certainty, "You are indeed my granddaughter!"

Yun Qianyue rolled her eyes.

Rong Jing suddenly bent down towards the woman clinging onto him and asked, "Do you know that this round of chess between me and Old Man Yun was actually a game with stakes"

Yun Qianyue was taken aback. How did she know Did the old man call Rong Jing here for gambling What were they betting on then She looked at Rong Jing, confused.

Rong Jing suddenly sighed and said, "I bet that I will get to enjoy my wedding tonight! Now that we've drawn this game, what do you think should be done"
