Chapter 16 How Unromantic
.Ye Qingran's face darkened: "As a prince of this kingdom, I’ve seen all manner of treasures—this doesn’t interest me."Lily shrugged, "I'm just saying it casually. If you don't want it, then I have no...Chapter 16: Truly Unrefined
The floral-shaped mark on her back is the family emblem of the Lan Clan, one of the Ten Great Families. Judging from how this woman practices martial arts and the formation she set up in Room Number Two, it's clear that she's no ordinary person. Although there was no name engraved beside the floral pattern, Yun Qianmo was certain that this woman was Lan Yi, the current head of the Lan Clan.
“Lan Yi The new head of the Lan Clan” Nan Lingrui widened his eyes in surprise.
"Yes!" Yun Qianmo nodded.
Hua Luo also immediately walked over to look at the woman's back, and then he nodded. "Lady, you're correct; she is indeed from the Lan Clan."
“It’s said that the family emblem of the Lan Clan is a floral pattern. Indeed it is! But this beauty is too young. To be the head of the Lan Clan at her age requires extraordinary skill and cunning.” Nan Lingrui clicked his tongue twice, then suddenly a spark appeared in his eyes as he asked Yun Qianmo: “This beauty is quite charming. If I went to her room, would she be so charmed by my good looks that she’d agree to come with me back to the Prince’s Palace”
Yun Qianmo snapped the mirror shut and harrumphed at Nan Lingrui: “No way!”
"Why not Your brother can't win her over" Nan Lingrui was displeased that he couldn’t see the woman bathing now that Yun Qianmo had closed the mirror.
“She and Feng Jin were engaged when they were young. She’s his fiancée. How could I let you poach” Yun Qianmo raised an eyebrow.
Nan Lingrui stared at her, surprised by what she said about Feng Jin's engagement to Lan Yi; he couldn't quite believe it. “The Lan and the Feng clans have a marriage agreement”
“Yes!” Yun Qianmo nodded, then walked over to sit down on a nearby table.
"This is serious! What if my brother falls for this beauty" Nan Lingrui looked somewhat worried as he sat beside Yun Qianmo and asked.
"Too bad!" Yun Qianmo picked up her chopsticks, ignoring him. If Lan Yi was here now, did that mean she had just come back from the Southern Frontier Then where would she be going northwards to Would it be the Cloud City to meet Ye Tianyi and give him the Southern Frontier’s Seal of Authority The Southern Frontier's Seal is extremely important; after fighting with Mo Li, Lan Yi knew her identity was exposed. She probably wouldn’t feel safe letting someone else deliver the seal, so she would personally hand it over to Ye Tianyi. That would mean she has the seal on her now
“What does ‘too bad’ mean” Nan Lingrui asked Yun Qianmo.
“Too bad means you can’t have her even if you want her!” Yun Qianmo glared at him. She didn't really believe in love at first sight, and this brother of hers was just playing around anyway. But whether it was because Lan Yi was engaged to Feng Jin or because she had some connection with Ye Tianyi, he couldn’t play around recklessly. So she reminded him: “Do you know the background of Empress Dowager Bie I saw a floral mark on her back when I met her years ago, which means she’s from the Lan Clan, one of the Ten Great Reclusive Clans that are known to have disappeared long ago. Why is Lady Bie from the Lan Clan and not just some ordinary noble family And five years ago, the entire Lan clan was exterminated by imperial decree. This must be related to something secret.”
“This is news!” Nan Lingrui said, surprised.
Hua Luo walked over and sat opposite Yun Qianmo, nodding in agreement: "Lady, you're right. Empress Dowager Bie did come from the Lan Clan. But I’m not sure what secrets there are behind that clan. But Mount Motian probably has records of all this. Any events within the past hundred years should have been recorded by the Seven Elders before they retired a year ago. After you return to Mount Motian, you’ll be able to find out more."
Yun Qianmo nodded.
"So she’s connected to Ye Tianyi" Nan Lingrui raised an eyebrow.
“Yes! I ordered my secret agent Mo Li to steal the Southern Frontier's Seal from Ye Qian. But Mo Li was a step too late, and another masked woman stole it before him. He fought her but returned wounded. Mo Li said she used the martial arts of one of the Ten Great Families with great familiarity. You should know that every decade for the past hundred years, there has been an All-Clan Martial Arts Competition among these ten families. They had all lived in seclusion since the founding emperor of the Heavenly Empire started his reign to avoid being seen as a threat by him and subsequent emperors. Although it’s been a century now, they still hold their private competition every decade. The woman must have concealed her strength and defeated Mo Li because she is from one of the Ten Great Families.” Yun Qianmo said coolly: “And according to Linglian, there's a young lady in the Ten Great Reclusive Clans with powerful martial arts skills, Lan Yi, head of the Lan Clan. It has to be her.”
“So she stole the Southern Frontier’s seal for Ye Tianyi” Nan Lingrui narrowed his eyes.
"It's not a second guess; otherwise what would be the point in stealing it" Yun Qianmo raised an eyebrow at him.
Nan Lingrui frowned, no longer saying anything. It seemed he was thinking deeply about something.
Yun Qianyue also stopped talking and continued eating. Hua Luo glanced at Nan Lingrui but did not say anything.
A moment later, Nan Lingrui said seriously, "We can't let her give the jade seal to Ye Tianyi. If the jade seal falls into Ye Tianyi's hands, although it won’t result in Southern Nian being completely controlled by him, he will still have a significant portion of Southern Nian under his control. Although Ye Qian is restrained, she actually also works against the interests of Southern Liang because Southern Liang borders Southern Nian."
"Mm! I promised Ye Qian that I would take back the jade seal for her within one month. Now it seems like we won't need a whole month," Yun Qianyue said, thinking to herself that she couldn’t let this opportunity slip by once she had encountered Lan Yi. However, figuring out how to retrieve the jade seal still required some planning. Since ancient times, the jade seal was revered as an extraordinary treasure and a symbol of power for a country. Possessing it signified receiving divine mandate from heaven, while losing it indicated that one's reign was coming to an end. If news about Southern Nian losing their jade seal were made public, it would cause panic among its subjects. Ye Qian needed to take the jade seal back from Ye Tianyi or she would face threats and coercion.
"How did you agree to help that woman retrieve her jade seal" Nan Lingrui frowned.
"She made a deal with me and used this as an exchange condition. I got some secrets from her," Yun Qianyue replied.
"I see! Just like I thought, that woman is treacherous. You actually agreed to help her too. Glancing at Lan Yi’s beauty, it's clear she isn't easy to deal with," Nan Lingrui glared at Yun Qianyue and harrumphed.
"I’ll have to interact with Lan Yi sooner or later anyway! Whether it’s the jade seal or something else in the future. Using Ye Qian of Southern Nian as a test now isn’t such a bad idea," Yun Qianyue said indifferently. At least she had confirmed that Chancellor Qin and Qin Yuceng were indeed associated with Southern Nian. Previously, she suspected that Ye Tianqing had dropped the Purple Grass on the execution grounds when he was overseeing the condemnation of the King of Ten Thousand Curses; despite some doubts from Qin Yuceng, she couldn’t find any clues to prove it. Later, after Yun Qianyue went to Chancellor’s Manor because of Ye Tianqing’s visit there, she saw Qin Yuceng's martial arts and her four ghost shadows. The way the ghost shadows moved when they landed and left was very similar to Southern Nian’s techniques, which led her to suspect that Qin Yuceng had connections with Southern Nian. However, it was just a suspicion. Now having Ye Qian confirm this fact was quite significant.
"Mm, since Lan Yi is here now, how do you plan on retrieving the jade seal" Nan Lingrui nodded and, after putting aside his serious demeanor, winked at Yun Qianyue with a mischievous smile and said, "Do you want me to use my charm against her"
Yun Qianyue laughed and said sarcastically, "Hua Luo looks better than you!"
Hua Luo blushed; it wasn’t really something a man would enjoy being told he looked good.
Nan Lingrui glanced at Hua Luo and harrumphed. When Yun Qianyue thought he was going to argue back, all she heard him say was, "How about the two of us use our charm against her"
Yun Qianyue let out a “Pfft,” as the corners of her mouth twitched.
Hua Luo’s face also twitched but he didn’t speak.
"What are you two grinning at I think this is a good idea. We can distract her, and you can take advantage to snatch the jade seal," Nan Lingrui glared at them both.
"The jade seal is heavy even though it’s small; she likely won’t carry it on her person but will keep it in a bag." Yun Qianyue thought for a moment, then agreed with Nan Lingrui's suggestion. "Attracting her attention and taking the opportunity to retrieve the jade seal might work. However, we must succeed on our first attempt. If we fail, it won’t be easy to get it back; she is from one of the Ten Recluses’ families, and their roots run deep over hundreds of years."
"Then come up with a way quickly! She leaves tomorrow morning. We need to succeed tonight," Nan Lingrui said.
Yun Qianyue nodded as she began to think: In this world, the imperial jade seal was akin to what existed in her previous world during the time of Emperor Qin Shi Huang after he unified the six states; it was made from a piece of Hetian jade and called the Imperial Jade Seal, symbolizing supreme authority over the nation. This unique imperial jade seal had been passed down for more than two thousand years, always held by powerful nations. Hence, the current imperial jade seal was in the hands of the elderly emperor of Tian Sheng; each time he issued an imperial edict, it would be sealed with this jade seal. Smaller countries or vassal states weren’t allowed to use jade for their seals and were made of other materials despite being called a jade seal as well. In this world, jade held a supreme status, indicating that Tian Sheng was a great nation above all others.
The material used in each country’s seals also differed, distinguishing the various nations’ statuses within this world. Southern Liang ranked second after Tian Sheng on this continent and its seal was made of gold with special techniques to prevent imitation. Western Yan followed at third place, using silver for their seal. Fourth was Bei Qi, located north of Northern Nian, with a copper seal. Fifth was Southern Nian, whose seal was made of iron. Other smaller nations could only use wood for theirs. The hierarchy and status were strictly demarcated by the material used for these seals.
Of course, there was an exception to this rule. This regulation applied to this continent; in another landmass, namely Dong Hai, which was separated by a sea, there was only one country that was rich and powerful with a favorable climate producing brilliant emperors who were naturally talented. In that land, there was just one jade seal made of jade.
"My Lady, shall I go at the stroke of midnight If I engage in combat with her while you retrieve the jade seal, I think it would be best if Prince Rui doesn’t show his face here right now. After all, Lan Yi has connections with the seventh prince and Prince Rui’s convoy is still in Yun City; if the seventh prince discovers that Prince Rui is here, there could be trouble," Hua Luo said softly to Yun Qianyue after she was lost in thought for a while.
"Then I’ll change my appearance! How can I not participate in such an endeavor" Nan Lingrui looked at Hua Luo unhappily.
Hua Luo glanced at Nan Lingrui and waited for Yun Qianyue to speak, choosing to remain silent himself.
Yun Qianyue ignored their conversation and thought about how if the jade seal of Southern Nian was made of iron, what would it fear A magnet. A magnet could attract all iron objects; perhaps she could use a magnet to quietly take the Southern Nian jade seal from Lan Yi's hand! Thinking along these lines, she felt this idea was feasible and her eyes lit up.
"Little miss, what are you planning" Nan Lingrui asked after seeing Yun Qianyue remain silent for a long time.
"I have thought of a way! We can quietly take the jade seal from Lan Yi's hands without any fighting," Yun Qianyue said with a smile.
"What method Little miss, are you thinking of drugging her to knock her out It is said that each of the top ten clans has studied about drugs. This might not work," Nan Lingrui said.
"No, it's not drugs!" Yun Qianyue shook her head and looked at Nan Lingrui and Hua Luo, "Do you know what a magnet is"
"A magnet" Nan Lingrui shook his head.
Hua Luo also didn't know what it was and shook his head too.
"As the name suggests, a magnet attracts iron. It can attract all things made of iron. Put it this way, for example, if an iron knife is lying at the door, I have a large magnet in my hand, then I can pull that iron knife from the door," Yun Qianyue explained to them and pointed towards the door.
"So magical" Nan Lingrui opened his eyes wide, "Is there such a good thing in this world"
"Yes!" Yun Qianyue nodded firmly, "But I need to go into the mountains immediately. There's no such thing in this world yet. We have to create it ourselves and polish it into iron stones before we can put it to use."
"So troublesome!" Nan Lingrui frowned and looked at the sky; outside was already completely dark.
"This is the most effective method, and she won't be able to find out," Yun Qianyue said. "Even if she finds out when we do it, by then we should have gotten the jade seal of Southern Nia."
If there's really something like what the young master said, that would be the best," Hua Luo nodded in agreement. "The head of the Lan family wouldn't go alone on this journey; surely they will have secret guards protecting him from the shadows. Even though His Highness Jing has people assisting you behind the scenes, I think it's best if we avoid a confrontation. After all, regardless of how much competition there is among the top ten clans in private, their strength grows and diminishes accordingly. But on the surface, they are still allied with each other. We need to be careful that the other clans don't interfere. If that happens and we end up clashing with them over the jade seal of Southern Nia, it will cause more problems,"
"Yes, what you said is correct!" Yun Qianyue nodded with a smile.
"Then let's eat quickly, and after eating, we'll go into the mountains." Nan Lingrui also wanted to see this magnet that Yun Qianyue had mentioned; he agreed enthusiastically with her plan.
The three of them reached an agreement without further discussion.
In no time, they finished their meal. Yun Qianyue called Li Niang and informed her before the trio left Drunken Fragrance Tower.
Based on her years of experience venturing outside each year, Yun Qianyue was very familiar with the mountainous terrain around Lan City. Twenty miles from the city lay a high mountain; riding horses out of the city, they arrived at its base in half an hour.
Yun Qianyue dismounted and took out a small night pearl from her pocket; the place instantly lit up as she began examining the soil composition and mineral content of the mountain rocks to find the area with the highest concentration of magnetite ore.
Nan Lingrui and Hua Luo followed behind, both puzzled by Yun Qianyue's actions. They couldn't understand how this mountain could be useful for making magnets that could take away Lan Yi's jade seal
About an hour later, Yun Qianyue stopped in the middle of a slope with a smile, "Found it!"
"This spot will do" Nan Lingrui raised his eyebrows.
"Both of you step back a bit. About ten paces," Yun Qianyue measured out the distance and instructed them.
Nan Lingrui and Hua Luo exchanged glances, then complied without further ado, stepping back to about ten paces.
When Yun Qianyue saw the two men leave, she gathered her strength and focused it in her palms. Two red lights emerged from her hands, quickly turning into two fireballs that she then combined into one before directing it at a spot ahead of her.
A loud explosion followed by a rumble echoed as rocks crumbled and large boulders tumbled down the hill.
"My lord, be careful!" Hua Luo shouted in alarm when he saw the huge rocks rolling towards Yun Qianyue. He was about to rush forward to save her.
"She's capable! No need for you to worry," Nan Lingrui stopped him and pulled him back.
Hua Luo could only stop in his tracks as he watched Yun Qianyue leap into the air, easily evading the rolling rocks. He breathed a sigh of relief from within.
After a series of loud noises, Yun Qianyue landed gracefully and walked over to the largest rock. She then raised her hand, channeling her strength to split it in half with both hands. The huge boulder was cut into neat blocks weighing around ten catties. Stopping, she lifted one block and smiled brilliantly at the two men before her, "Mission accomplished! Let's go back for Lan Yi to see."
"Isn't this still just a stone Can it be used" Nan Lingrui looked suspiciously at the stone in Yun Qianyue’s hand while glancing at the mountain behind them. The area was now in ruins, with a huge hole in it. He wondered how such a little girl could have such impressive martial arts skills.
"It can be used!" Yun Qianyue nodded.
"Young Master, I’ll take this from you," Hua Luo stepped forward and took the stone from Yun Qianyue’s hand.
Yun Qianyue nodded and handed him the stone. She then walked over to her horse and mounted it before waving at them. Urging her horse with her legs, she rode towards Lan City.
Nan Lingrui and Hua Luo followed closely behind on their horses as they galloped toward the city.
The trio rode in silence until they reached the gates of Lan City. It was now 9:30 PM and only one quarter remained before the gates closed for the night. They had timed everything perfectly, entering the city and returning to Drunken Fragrance Tower. Yun Qianyue dismounted her horse as she led them back into Room T1.
Lizhuang saw them return and hurried after them. Looking at the stone in Hua Luo’s hands, she was puzzled as she asked softly, "My lord, what is this about"
"Where are those from room T2" Yun Qianyue asked Lizhuang.
"They seem to have gone to bed," Lizhuang replied.
Yun Qianyue nodded and walked over to the table, opening the mirror. As expected, she saw Lan Yi in bed, with her blanket draped halfway down but not completely removed. She pursed her lips as she thought for a moment before giving instructions to Lizhuang: "Send someone to set fire to the horse barn behind the inn to create the illusion of a fire. The most important part is finding more people to shout loudly so that the commotion can be made even bigger."
"Understood! I’ll go see to it right away!" Lizhuang nodded, not questioning Yun Qianyue’s intentions as she knew there must be a reason for her instructions.
"Brother, after some consideration, I think you should use the pretty boy tactic. You can pretend to have accidentally wandered into room T2 while drunk. It's late at night and Lan Yi won’t be able to recognize you right away. Your skills are varied so she might not be able to handle you completely, but neither will she be able to defeat you easily. Besides, you originally came from Yun City, but managed to leave the city’s surveillance range under Nite Tianyi’s watchful eye and arrive here in Lan City. She wouldn’t expect it," Yun Qianyue looked at Nan Lingrui, "Hua Luo comes from one of the Ten Great Families’ Hua family. If he were to fight with Lan Yi, she might figure out some clues leading back to Crimson Pavilion. But if you hide your true martial arts abilities, she shouldn’t be able to detect them."
Nan Lingrui blinked his eyes and patted his chest as he said, "I’m happy to do it."
Yun Qianyue looked at him with a smile before turning her gaze towards Hua Luo: "Hua Luo, you go to the horse barn and make sure all the guests’ horses are led away. At that time, everyone will shout loudly as they chase their horses. Lan Yi’s mount is bound to be among them. Faced with panic, she’ll definitely check on her horse. Then brother can use his drunkard’s nature to pursue her attentions, while I act and take the Imperial Seal with a magnet."
"Alright! That works!" Nan Lingrui nodded in agreement.
Hua Luo thought it was a good idea too and agreed as well.
“If we succeed, all three of us will immediately ride our horses out of Yun City and head to Sky Piercing Cliff at night without stopping,” said Yun Qianyue.
"Alright!" Both of them nodded and got ready.
Nan Lingrui, who had abstained from alcohol throughout the journey, now picked up a wine jar and drank half of it. After finishing, he said to Yun Qianyue, "But I can't get drunk with just this little amount of alcohol."
"Do you know how to pretend" Yun Qianyue really wanted to call him a drunkard.
"Then let me finish the rest of this jar!" Nan Lingrui poured the remaining half into his mouth.
Yun Qianyue didn't stop him but warned, "As long as you don’t delay anything, it's fine! Be careful about the formation in her room."
"That little girl underestimates me! The Imperial Tutor hasn’t taught me much else, but I’ve learned enough to deal with formations. Dealing with men might be a bit lacking, but dealing with women..." Nan Lingrui smiled wickedly and said, "It’s as easy as picking them up."
"She is Feng Jin's fiancée; don't go too far," Yun Qianyue warned again.
"She is merely his fiancée and hasn’t yet married him," Nan Lingrui was unconcerned. He soon entered the room.
Hua Luo looked at Yun Qianyue, who nodded to him. Hua Luo left the room too, flying towards Ma Peng.
Yun Qianyue picked up that piece of stone and flew out through the window of Room A1, quietly landing outside Window B2. She hooked her fingers onto the windowsill and stuck close to the wall. Fortunately, it was a moonless night, making it hard to see anything under the dark sky while the curtains in front of the bed blocked the view inside.
She waited for a moment and heard fire breaking out in the stable of Drunken Fragrance Pavilion. Someone shouted, "The stables are on fire!"
"Quickly put it out!" another person yelled.
"Someone come to help put out the fire!" followed by several other voices.
Yun Qianyue held her breath and listened carefully. Sure enough, when the second shout was made, she heard someone get up from bed and walk towards the window rather than the door. She remained motionless.
At that moment, another loud voice came outside, "Quickly block them! The horses are all running wild!"
"Someone come quickly!" shouted yet another person.
Around her, she heard people shouting and the sound of hooves as chaos ensued.
Inside the room, the curtains were drawn open and a delicate hand swiftly opened the window.
At this moment, the door to Room B2 was roughly kicked open from outside. The strength behind it made a loud clang heard even over the commotion.
"Who is there" Lan Yi whispered in a soft voice.
"I see you as beautiful as clouds and rosy mist; the clouds and rosy mist seem shy compared to your beauty. Beautiful woman, the night dew is heavy, let’s drink together, what do you think" Nan Lingrui leaned against the door frame after opening it, his peach-blossom eyes staring at Lan Yi by the window with a captivating gaze. His handsome face was slightly flushed and looked very seductive despite the dim light.
"Get out!" Lan Yi narrowed her eyes, recognizing the strong smell of alcohol, her voice turning cold.
"You really don’t have any taste for romance!" Nan Lingrui glanced at Lan Yi reproachfully. Ignoring her warning, he asked, "Have you heard about Mister Unbind the Flowers"
"Get out!" Lan Yi stood by the bed without moving.
"Flirt Master solves the worries of all women in the world. Since I've come, how could I leave" Nan Lingrui suddenly smiled and said, "This beauty cannot be let go by this公子."
"So he's a thief!" Lan Yi angrily shouted coldly and suddenly attacked Nan Lingrui.
Upon hearing this, Yun Qianyue twitched her lips. She thought that the term "thief" was quite fitting.
"Beautiful lady, you hit the nail on the head! This公子 indeed found someone who can appreciate me!" Nan Lingrui suddenly chuckled softly. His laughter was irresistibly seductive; he dodged Lan Yi's attack and stepped into the room. Although his steps were somewhat unsteady, they skillfully avoided the array formations set up in the room. In just two strides, he stood before her, reaching out to her as if wanting to embrace her.
Lan Yi clearly hadn't expected Nan Lingrui to so easily break through the array formation she had set up; she was instantly alarmed. Seeing his body and hand approaching, her beautiful face turned cold, and without holding back, she used all ten points of strength against him instead of just three as before.
In an instant, they started fighting.
Even while fighting, Nan Lingrui didn't stop teasing with his words. His flirtatious remarks poured out like blooming flowers.
This made Yun Qianyue feel somewhat embarrassed and admiring at the same time. She had known this brother of hers since childhood to have such charm over women. Today's sight further broadened her horizons. Thinking that even a dead woman would be awakened by his honeyed words, Lan Yi, despite being skilled in martial arts and capable of defeating Nan Lingrui, was flustered and enraged by the situation she hadn't encountered before. As such, she couldn't perform at her best and ended up evenly matched with him.
Lan Yi was led from the window to the door by Nan Lingrui's deliberate provocation.
Seeing the right moment, Yun Qianyue lightly leaped over and silently sat on the windowsill. She aimed her magnet at the room. Suddenly, she saw a package on the bedside move; her eyes flashed as she waited patiently. Indeed, in no time, the package flew towards her noiselessly. Apparently, Lan Yi had packed only a jade seal and a set of clothes for simplicity during her trip. The package was made of thin silk fabric which couldn't withstand the magnetic force between the iron inside and Yun Qianyue's magnet. It thus flew toward Yun Qianyue along with the seal.
Nan Lingrui kept an eye on the package. When he saw it fly towards Yun Qianyue without any trace of her true energy, his eyes widened in disbelief. Now there was no way to deny that stone's power. Though shocked, he quickly recovered and continued teasing Lan Yi while fighting.
The package approached the window, at a short distance from which Yun Qianyue reached out and caught it before silently using her lightness skills to return to Room T1. None of this was noticed by the flustered and enraged Lan Yi.
Upon returning to Room T1, Yun Qianyue opened the package in her hand. Indeed, besides a set of blue clothes, there was only the jade seal of Southern疆. She smiled as she took out the seal and tied up the package again before re-entering the window and landing silently at Drunken Fragrance Tower's entrance.
Hua Luo had already been waiting there. Seeing Yun Qianyue emerge, he asked in a low voice, "Young Lady, did you get the jade seal"
"Got it!" Yun Qianyue nodded.
"Prince Regent Rui hasn't come out yet! Should I go help him" Hua Luo whispered.
"No need! He’s fine," Yun Qianyue shook her head, thinking Nan Lingrui's flirting with Lan Yi was quite amusing.
Hua Luo didn’t speak further. The two of them waited at the entrance of Drunken Fragrance Tower.
Inside the tower, it remained bustling and noisy.
About a cup of tea later, Nan Lingrui suddenly leaped out from Room T1’s window with Lan Yi in pursuit. He hurled an alcohol jar he had been holding at her; unable to dodge, she reached out to open it but was met with the shattered jar and most of its contents splashing on her face.
"Beautiful lady, you didn't want my drink before, so you prefer this way! Next time I'll remember to pour it like that. Let me treat you this way," Nan Lingrui laughed heartily. His flirtatious laughter echoed as he swiftly mounted a horse between Hua Luo and Yun Qianyue, urging the horse forward with his legs. Qianyue picked up the Chu Family's secret memorandum, and he then picked up the Flower Family's secret memorandum. Although he was born into the Flower Family, he had left it since childhood and knew...
